My name is Brian Carpenter. I have been in Student Ministry for fourteen years and am now transitioning into coming on staff as Area Representative for the Vermilion Valley FCA. I love ministry and I love sports. So what better way to serve the Lord than combine my two biggest passions into one and further the Kingdom with the work that FCA has been doing for years in Vermilion County.

I believe that through sports, FCA has the opportunity to introduce both coaches and athletes into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Being a coach myself, I understand the impact that we, as coaches, have on athletes and students. What better way to impact athletes than to coach them with the love and compassion of Jesus. Sports goes much deeper in life than just wins and losses. Playing a sport can impact you for the rest of your life for both good and bad. I would love nothing more than to see our area athletes impacted by their coaches in a Christ-like way.

It is my passion that through FCA, we can accomplish this mission of taking the Gospel out into our community and make disciples that will go on to further the work of the Kingdom in their schools and communities. It is our mission to go and make disciples. With your help and support, I believe that God will work through FCA and myself to accomplish this mission.
