Meet Ryan Neiswender

Hi! My name is Ryan Neiswender, and I am a Paralympic Gold Medalist, corporate keynote speaker, and business leader who has found his passion by helping teams and organizations reach their untapped potential. Originally from Pennsylvania, I was born with a disability called Arthrogryposis which affected the development of my quadricep muscles in my legs.

In 2005, I was introduced to the game of wheelchair basketball and as a senior in high school made Team USA! I committed to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to play Division I wheelchair basketball where I was a 4-Time All-American.

During my time at the University of Illinois, I was introduced to what it meant to have a relationship with Christ through FCA, was baptized in 2015 and met my beautiful wife, Lauren!

After graduating college, I worked for Illini Land FCA for a year before pursuing a professional wheelchair basketball career in Hamburg, Germany. I currently work at Visa Inc. on the Global Digital Partnerships team.

I am a man of faith, love spending time with my family and my goal is to help people and organizations around the world maximize their untapped potential by leveraging my experiences at the pinnacle of sport.

Abide in the vine,
Ryan Neiswender

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing! However, there will be an opportunity to financially partner with the ministry during the event. It’s our biggest fundraising event of the year! We do require that all guests register online to receive a table assignment.

What should I wear?

Typical dress is business casual. That said, it really doesn’t matter.

Can I bring my kids?

Unfortunately not. This is our only “adult only” event throughout the entire year. We want to maximize the number of adults in attendance to be able to influence kids throughout the rest of the year. If you’d like your kid(s) to get involved in the ministry, we’d love to talk with you. Give us a call!

Anything we missed?
